Four movie questions
Holla, fast ein Stöckchen von ganz weit weg übersehen, wegen zu viel Streß. Ok, dann mal das Englisch anwerfen und los:

Total number of films I own:
Oh. A lot. No exact idea, how many, but there must be more than 150 DVDs and 100 videos (most of them US-versions of movies that are cut or badly dubbed here) in my flat. I know that this is too much.

The last film I bought:
Wonderful Days. Could not resist because of the very low price. I really liked it. It has a great atmosphere because of the high quality animations and the fitting soundtrack. In these matters the Korean movie does not have to hide behind the Japanese animes. Only in terms of story there are some real weaknesses and it's no match for any recent Japanese movie.

The last film I watched:
In cinema, i guess? Episode 3. I really liked the english original last monday, especially Ian McDiarmid loses all his madness in the dubbed german version.

Five favorite films I either watch frequently or that mean a lot to me:
For my readers there should not be anything surprising here. First off, my all time favorite (and as far as i see it today, disturbingly resembling) movie is "The Fisher King". Everytime i see it, there is something new in it. Perhaps this is just, because it's about grown ups, not Teenagers in grown up bodies.
The other three movies were important, but in no kind of ranking. I think, the most intense movie ever at the time i saw it was "The Name of the Rose". I went into the cinema three days in a row.
Then, of course, there is "Buckaroo Banzai". Insane, completely over the top, quite unknown this is the movie we based our philosophy on. The video sessions at Marios place will stay in my mind as the best example of how one can excape into weirdness to prevent getting mad. No, you do not have to understand this. Noone knows, why there's a melon.
Important in a complete other direction was "Thunderheart". A hyperrealistic, politically critical plot, that seems to be more documentary than fiction. But the world it shows does not end in what one can see or hear: It permitted as well visions, magic, prophecies and deliberate syncronicities. It plays in the extended world of the native americans. And they win in the end because "FBI" doesn't belong here.

Well, thats it. I should give the meme forward now, i guess. Ok, then it will be Lili and Volker then. Hit it.
